'Synaptic Static' is the second full length outing from Cincinnati-based psych rock outfit, General Baxter. Tracked in basements, living rooms, and practice spaces across the Queen City, this project sees the group taking their first real crack at recording as a live unit. In roughly 45 minutes, the group weaves together blistering garage rock anthems, woozy krautrock-flavored jams, and 60's-Floyd-esque space-outs, all punctuated by a massive improvised prog freakout.

General Baxter is Will Popiel, Ryan Sansom, Steph Manahan, and Ian Leamy.
